Three Spaces
In this triptych, I performed as the subject; the spaces used were Rochester, Chatham and Gillingham. I have strong connections to all three places. I was born in Chatham and, although I grew up in Norway, I have great memories of summer visits. I entered each space with the intention of creating a stage for a performance. There was no pre-planned idea of what was going to happen; my performance was a reaction to what was going through my mind at the time of shooting.
